Washington County Watershed Alliance

The Chartiers Creek Watershed Association (ChCWA), along with other watershed groups, is a member of the
Washington County Watershed Alliance
(WCWA). The Alliance is an umbrella conservation organization serving the county’s 15 watersheds, eight
of which have official watershed associations. WCWA was created to enhance and coordinate the activities
of individual watershed groups.
As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) registered with the Pennsylvania Bureau of Charitable Organizations, WCWA serves
as the fiscal agent for grants for its member watershed groups county-wide.
